Can I play Victoria Golf Club's course?
Yes – if you are a member of one of our reciprocal clubs, at a reduced rate. (See
Reciprocal Clubs).
Yes – if you are a member of another golf club. It is recommended that you have your professional or manager call ahead at 250-598-4322.  The Visitor Rate is $200 during peak season. (See
Green Fees)

 

What is covered in my fee?
Eighteen holes of unsurpassed oceanside golf, pull cart, range balls and access to Macan's and heritage clubhouse. Power carts are available at an additional fee, as are caddies by prior arrangement.

 

Can I arrange a lesson?
Yes, non-members are welcome to arrange instruction from one of our teaching pros. (See
Lessons)

 

How can I find out more about the history of the oldest course in Canada in its original location?
Check out the
History section or read the 1993 centenary book written by Peter Corley-Smith (available from the VGC office).

 

Do I have to be a member to book your clubhouse facilities?
Though it's helpful to know a VGC member - as their events take priority – anyone may arrange receptions, business luncheons or dances as the schedule permits. (See

After four days of play at the Canadian Amateur in 1993, the winning score was 282 (+2).


When are you open?
Once in a blue moon, it snows in Victoria. That day, Victoria Golf Club is closed. But it's usually open the next day (the snow melts that quickly). Other than that, we're open every day - for more play than any other course in Canada – especially now that the $4 million Drainage and Irrigation Upgrade is complete. (See

Easy. Victoria Golf Club is as close as you can find golf to downtown Victoria. (See
