NATURAL AREA MANAGEMENT:
In addition to our selective herbice spray program, our Horticulturist Jacinda Chow and her CanAssist team will began the manual removal of invasive species in May and June. We will begin Natural Area Management in late May and all of June. The first areas to clear of invasives are:
Beach drive boulevards (working with Oak Bay Municipal Staff), transplanting native camas flowers into the area.
The path from 2 green, behind 12 tee.
The area right of 18 green below the flag pole.
ARBORICULTURE UPDATES:
The tree in the parking lot had died. We will remove this tree as soon as possible. We are currently developing a parkinglot improvement plan and will leave the area unplanted until the plans are complete and ready for implementation.
