Golf Facilities
Facilities
The ultimate game-improvement device, used for indoor instruction and club-fitting. With a 16' x 12' screen, it has a leading radar technology that provides accurate data capture, including swing speed, ball speed, spin rates, launch angles, swing path, angle of attack, club face angle at impact, distance, and more. The Simulator also provides frame-by-frame slow-motion swing analysis from two angles, realistic play, and practice.
Driving Range
A 150-yard range featuring a continuous Synlawn mat and a driver warm-up area.
Short Game Practice Area
Located next to the 15th fairway. It is 100 yards of grass area to practice bunker, wedge play, chipping, and pitching.
Putting Green
Located next to the 1st tee and has an 18-hole putting course - a must-visit before tackling our legendary greens.
Club-Fittings & Repairs
Located in the Pro Shop. We provide professional fitting technology and full repairs for grips and shafts. Our fitting technology includes a Ping nFlight custom golf club fitting system, Foresight GC Quad Simulator fitting, Fitting Carts (Ping, TaylorMade, Titleist, Callaway), and Mitchell Lie-and-Loft Machine for accurate club analysis and adjustment.
Carts, Push Carts & Caddies
Available by request. We have 26 electric carts, 63 pushcarts, and Evans Scholarship Caddies who are mostly available during the summer months and school holidays. Learn more about our Evans Scholarship Program, which launched at VGC in 2006.
Locker Rooms
Oversees the 16th hole. The lounge includes a flat-screen TV, refreshment area, and card tables. Wood-paneled half and full lockers fill up the room, as well as several Guest lockers, which are available by request. Other facilities include full showers and a shoe-cleaning service.
Women's Locker Room
Includes a flat-screen TV, computer & office room, refreshment area, and a card-playing room. Recently renovated, the locker room provides light-wood lockers in both half and full, as well as a number of Guest lockers. Full shower facilities in a large washroom and a shoe-cleaning service are also provided.
Junior Locker Room
Located in the same building as our golf simulator. The lounge includes individual locker rooms for girls and boys, washrooms, shoe storage, couches, XBOX with games and controllers, and a desk. It's the perfect place for our Junior Members to call their own.
